INTRO

Researcher Chiara Pussetti – The Excel Project / Lisbon University) invited me to develop the complete graphic approach that would illustrate the concept chosen for this Congress which, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ended up being held virtually. The project included the creation of a variety of elements, such as billboards, a digital screen, content and images for social networks, a program, teasers, etc.

 

MOTE

the name of the congress: Roda de Conversa. I quickly visualized it: an informal conversation around a table… in a circle of chairs.

It all made sense to me from then on. In the middle of the Wheel and in the center of the image, the protagonist of the conversation: the Hair.

 

CHALLENGE

To develop the visual identity and communication strategy based on and using these graphic elements. As the guest line-up was vast, each chair would represent a guest, symbolizing the collective union in the form of a wheel. The choice of “simple, green-painted wooden” chairs immediately evoked the atmosphere of an informal conversation, without compromising the professionalism.
